Nahmjee Lee-Skarada, DMD, is a diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. She graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, with a double major in biochemistry and business. Her research at Washington University Medical School on human genome sequencing was published in the prestigious journal, Nature.

She pursued dental training at New York University Dental School and Oregon Health Science University and received her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry.

She was an assistant professor at OHSU’s dental school from 2011–2014, and is one of the few U.S. dentists who completed extensive continuing education and board examination in dental sleep medicine to obtain diplomate status through the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Lee-Skarada specializes exclusively in the care of patients with sleep-disordered breathing. Her area of expertise is the dental treatment of obstructive sleep apnea through the latest technology in dental and oral appliances. She offers the most complete approach to the design, delivery, and follow-through of oral appliances to treat sleep apnea in her patients. If you snore, have mild to moderate sleep apnea, or cannot tolerate CPAP therapy, she has effective nonsurgical options to discuss with you. In order to ensure the best possible results, Dr. Lee-Skarada works closely with all sleep team physicians, including the primary care provider, sleep physician, ENT surgeon, and dentist.
